Ableton Live 12 Lite がしっくりこないので、Cubace の無料体験版をインストールした。ざっと調べた限りではMac 用のDAWであるLogic Proが使いやすそうなのだが、Macがないので試すことが出来ない。
「音楽制作をする上で自分のやりたい事を明確化して、それに合ったDAWを選び、そのDAWに俺が合わせる」というのがスジなのかもしれないが、「DAWも楽器の1つ」と考えた場合「しっくりくるDAWとの出会い」も相当に重要事項のような気がする。
Ableton Live 12 Lite didn’t quite click with me, so I installed the free trial version of Cubase. From a quick look, Logic Pro—a Mac-exclusive DAW—seems like it would be easy to use, but I don’t own a Mac, so I can’t try it out. The logical approach might be to clarify what I want to achieve in music production, choose a DAW that fits those needs, and then adapt my workflow to that software. However, if you view the DAW itself as an instrument, finding one that truly “clicks” feels like a crucial factor.
